Angular update

Upgrading angular.

npm uninstall -g angular-cli
npm cache verify // for cleaning cache
npm install -g @angular/cli@latest

And in your angular project

npm rm -rf node_modules
npm uninstall --save-dev angular-cli
npm install --save-dev @angular/cli@latest
npm install

You can also use below code to upgrade you angular to latest version.

ng update @angular/cli

You can also pass –all to update all the packages

ng update --all --force

After upgrading run the clean cache

npm cache verify (recommended)
npm cache clean (for older npm versions)
npm cache clean --force
